Hi, I’m Tess — a physiotherapist passionate about helping you recover and get back to the life you love.

I take a whole-person approach to recovery, focusing on what motivates you and uncovering the barriers that might be holding you back. My goal is to make the invisible visible — helping you feel seen, understood, and empowered every step of the way. My areas of interest include concussion care, holistic health, chronic pain management, and orthopedic rehabilitation.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and came to Canada with a clear goal: to specialize in concussion rehabilitation.

Concussion rehab became my passion when I saw patients whose symptoms seemed impossible to make sense of. I could not accept letting people be told, “time will heal your concussion” or “just learn to live with it”, and neither should you.

Physiotherapy, to me, is not about chasing symptoms. It is about understanding what drives them, how the body’s systems interact, and understanding the person affected by it. Through a multisystem assessment, we can uncover the missing links and create a personalized plan that supports your recovery.

I help you make sense of your symptoms, find clarity in the chaos, and move forward with confidence.

Beyond concussion care, I support individuals living with persistent pain and musculoskeletal injuries, drawing from my background in orthopaedics and chronic pain management in the Netherlands. Together, we address not just the physical, but also sleep, nutrition and other lifestyle factors that shape recovery. I believe that lasting recovery begins with shaping the right circumstances for the body to thrive.
